If you still want to wear a mask for your treatment, that is great. If you don't, that is great too. I will wear a mask when it mitigates risk to my clients and myself.
Please continue to complete the COVID-19 pre-screening form before you arrive.
You're an active person who knows massage helps you stay in top form, recover from injuries, and reduce everyday aches, pain and stress. By listening carefully to your health history and goals, using orthopaedic tests and analysing this information, I create a personalised treatment plan that gets you back to the activities you love.
Being very active, I know what it feels like to be sidelined by pain. To keep me in the game I turn to massage again and again. I will help you get back in the game using current, science-informed practices.
Regular massage allows you to be resilient in the face of whatever life throws your way. Using my knowledge of human physiology, pathology and trauma, and the science behind healing, I will help you keep doing the things you love to do.
For massage therapy clients with insurance, I am able to direct bill treatments to dozens of insurance companies, such as
Green Shield, Canada Life, Manulife, and many more.
This means no, or low, out of pocket payments for you!
Consultation and orthopaedic tests are followed by a combination of kinetic massage, myofascial release, assisted stretches, active inhibition, joint mobilisations, Swedish massage, Shiatsu, lymphatic drainage, and trigger point release. Exercise and home care instructions complete the session.
The last week of each month I update my schedule for the next month.
Click on the BOOK ONLINE button at the top of this website to select a date and time.
Your first appointment will be 60 minutes and includes a review of your health history form, analysis of your main concern, a massage and home care instructions.
NOTE: Ask about in-home treatments for those who are not mobile; and compassionate pricing for those with low income.
My clinic is located in the Westmount area of London, Ontario
If arriving by car, come 5 minutes early and park in the driveway or on the road. I will come out to welcome you. Please do not ring the door bell or knock. I do not have a waiting room but you may sit on the bench on my porch.
I have a dog and two cats. If you have allergies, please take an antihistamine in advance or choose a different massage therapy clinic.
There are two steps up to get into the house. My house does not have a level, wheelchair accessible entry.
I do not have a waiting area. Please stay in your car when you arrive until I come out to welcome you in. You are also welcome to sit on the bench on the porch before your appointment.
Please take your shoes off and place them on the rack in the foyer when you come inside.
There are 30 minutes between clients to reduce the chance clients will cross paths, and to allow me time for the higher level of cleaning needed to maintain a therapy room safe from infectious diseases. Please do not enter until I have completed these tasks and invited you in.
When you book an appointment online you will be asked if you want to receive any or all of the following: reminders, recalls, my availability, e-newsletter and your yearly birthday discount. Your preferences can be changed at any time.
Your health info is held securely. It can be only be shared if I am required by law, or if you indicate in writing that you wish me to share it with another health care provider.
